Heresy III

Now available for purchase direct from Klipsch.com (US residents only)! Klipsch Heritage Series products are built to order, handmade in the US at our Hope, Ark. manufacturing facility. Please allow approximately 4 weeks turnaround time.

Note: products are priced as "each."

Because of its relatively "compact" size, this model offers the greatest degree of placement flexibility in the Heritage Series line. First introduced in 1957, the Heresy, a three-way design, started out as a compact center channel speaker to accompany the Klipschorn® in three-speaker stereo arrays. In 1985, we made some changes and improvements to this model and re-released it as the Heresy II. Today, the new Heresy III has a more powerful woofer, a bi-wire network, and a titanium diaphragm tweeter with a larger magnet assembly. The midrange compression driver also features a new titanium diaphragm.

All of these changes result in improved tonal balance and increased output. In fact the Heresy III is three decibels louder (96 to 99dB), improving on its already high sensitivity.

In addition to delivering smooth, dynamic and low distortion sound, the Heresy III is available in a high-quality cherry, walnut or black ash wood veneer finish. Included is a slant riser base for floor placement that can be removed for cabinet installations.

Please allow approximately 4 weeks turnaround time.

Note: products are priced as "each."

Audio pioneer and company founder Paul W. Klipsch launched the Klipschorn loudspeaker in 1946 to enable people, for the first time ever, to experience the power, detail and emotion of a live performance at home. Commonly called a corner-horn speaker, the remarkably uncommon Klipschorn includes a highly efficient horn loaded tweeter and midrange compression driver. Its patented folded-horn 15" woofer delivers powerful low frequencies.

Considered a watershed industry event, the introduction of the Klipschorn set the standard for high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, low distortion, and smooth frequency response. These principles, which drive the creation of every single Klipsch loudspeaker, are what make the Klipschorn as sought after today as it was decades ago.

As the only speaker in the world to be in continuous production for 60 years, the Klipschorn has remained relatively unchanged since its inception. In 2005, the company made some minor cosmetic and functional revisions to this legendary speaker, including the elimination of the inset collar, or spacer, between the upper and lower cabinets for a cleaner aesthetic appearance. A horizontal wall seal was added to improve the low frequency horn's response accuracy.

Available in a cherry, walnut or black ash wood veneer finish, the Klipschorn reflects a level of high-quality workmanship that will never go out of style.

La Scala II

Now available for purchase direct from Klipsch.com (US residents only)! Please allow approximately 4 weeks turnaround time.

Note: products are priced as "each."

Even though the La Scala II adopts a more finished appearance, it still delivers the same sparkling highs, extreme output and unsurpassed low distortion bass response as the original design. It also continues to utilize the same horn-loaded drivers as the Klipschorn, making it highly efficient and able to produce high volumes consuming very little power and undetectable distortion.

When the La Scala first launched in 1963, audio pioneer Paul W. Klipsch made it for Arkansas gubernatorial candidate Winthrop Rockefeller to use as a public address speaker. Because some considered it a "portable" and more affordable version of the revolutionary Klipschorn®, the La Scala found success beyond the campaign. Despite its raw, unfinished appearance, the fully horn-loaded, three-way La Scala sounded so good people still wanted to put it in their living rooms.

Remaining virtually unchanged since those early campaign days, Klipsch decided to cosmetically improve the raw-looking La Scala by totally redesigning the way the cabinet was constructed. The goal was the achieve a more finished appearance and improve cabinet rigidity. It is now available in a variety of high-quality wood veneer finishes, including cherry, walnut and black ash. The La Scala II also includes a grille to cover the mid and high frequency horns. The bass horn cabinet walls are now constructed of 1-inch thick MDF rather than ¾-inch plywood to offer more support, decrease resonance and deliver cleaner bass response.

Please allow approximately 4 weeks turnaround time.

Note: products are priced as "each."
Initially introduced in 1959, the Cornwall speaker was designed to serve as a larger, full-range alternative to the Heresy when used as a center channel speaker between two widely spaced Klipschorns. When it was discontinued in 1990, there was an outcry from consumers resulting in a letter-writing campaign and even a petition to bring back this storied loudspeaker.

This famed speaker, now dubbed the Cornwall III, is back and better than ever. A three-way design using horn-loaded compression drivers for the midrange and treble and a direct-radiating 15-inch woofer for the low frequencies, the Cornwall delivers the full-range bass response of the Klipschorn® with sensitivity and output approaching the fully horn-loaded models. The Cornwall III now includes a riser-base, which was optional in previous versions.

Because compromise isn't an option, the Reference Series RF-62 floorstander offers up everything you've never heard before in your favorite music and movies. With its superior technology and slender design, this speaker definitely stands out in the crowd.

Exclusive Tractrix® Horns have always been the key component of this critically acclaimed series. In the RF-62, this technology has been refined to include improved throat geometry for a more genuine, lifelike sound. Behind the horn lies a 1-inch titanium tweeter with a large ceramic motor structure to provide a unique combination of precision, clarity and effortless power.

The RF-62 employs dual 6.5-inch woofers for a solid bass foundation. These Cerametallic™ woofers with inverted copper dust caps exhibit a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb damping characteristics.

The RF-62's rigid cabinet offers improved internal cross-bracing to minimize panel vibrations that can color sound and twin rear-firing ports to eliminate turbulence noise. Increased baffle ribbing in the lower panel and around the horn mouth dramatically improve acoustics across the sonic range. For signal purity and perfect driver integration, the crossover on the RF-62 features the finest components and Klipsch custom internal wiring.

Available in a black vinyl finish, the RF-62 comes with a low-diffraction, magnetically attached grille to further accentuate the elegance of this speaker.

As the intermediate floorstanding loudspeaker in our high-end luxury Palladium™ Series, the P-38F features the flagship P-39F’s technology and gallery-like appearance in a slightly smaller, but equally stunning package.

Visit the Palladium mini-site for more information.

Introducing the P-38F floorstander, along with the entire Palladium™ Series, Klipsch has established new standards for visual impact and audio excellence. In fact, this premium speaker is a pinnacle of modern-day horn-loaded technology, letting you hear and emotionally connect with your music and movies precisely as the original artist or director intended.

Next to its shape, the most striking visual statement is the exotic zebra-grain Linia veneer that’s available in three different finishes: natural, merlot and espresso. The horizontal linear grain and absence of visible fasteners allows the P-38F to elegantly complement your furniture and décor.

When in place, the two magnetically attached speaker grilles are designed to subtly reveal the classic Klipsch horns at the top and the hybrid drivers below; those who desire a more functional, powerful look may choose to remove them entirely to display the components. An adjustable brushed aluminum floating base supports the cabinet at just four points, rather than the entire area of the base. This raises the cabinet from floor level but maintains absolute stability.

From every angle, every perspective, the P-38F speaker is how luxury should look. It’s a treat for the senses—even before you hear it.

A Legacy Reborn
Since 1946, Klipsch has been synonymous with horn-loaded technology. And since then, we’ve been guided by the four design principles set forth by our founder Paul W. Klipsch: high efficiency, low distortion, controlled directivity and wide and flat frequency response. After just one listen, you’ll discover the P-38F represents the latest advancement in horn technology and purest application of those design principles yet.

Offering 3.5-way performance, the P-38F speaker shares a lot of similarities with the larger, flagship P-39F, employing the same Tractrix® Horn-loaded midrange and super tweeter.

Unique to the Palladium Series is a carbon-infused, thermoset composite dual-horn configuration. It consists of a proprietary tweeter design, combining a chambered phase plug and Tractrix® Horn for extended high-frequency response; a second 90º by 60º acoustically dampened Tractrix Horn is coupled to the midrange driver, resulting in remarkably precise and detailed performances.

For superior bass performance, the P-38F’s three low-frequency drivers employ 8-inch hybrid cone woofers, powered by a unique three-part neodymium magnet structure with dual stabilizing rings that reduce nonlinear flux. Four ports on the rear of the speaker enhance low-distortion bass response. Each woofer’s voice coil responds accurately to the smallest signal modulation, yet can also handle the high power of the most demanding soundtracks.

Many speakers of similar caliber rely on off-the-shelf drivers; every P-38F driver has been engineered and built for their specific application. Years of research, development and testing resulted in a remarkable driver design that exceeds even our own high performance standards.

A performer unlike any other, the flagship P-39F floorstander is the ultimate expression of Klipsch —approaching aural perfection, while making a visual statement that is every bit as elegant and passionate as the sound.

Visit the Palladium mini-site for more information.

Offering the highest level of perfection in every respect, the Palladium™ P-39F floorstander pushes the boundaries of performance, style and technology as never before. With an eye toward home interior and furniture designs, this pairing created a signature look that blends classic Klipsch audio and a clean, contemporary appearance.

The floorstander’s “boat-tail” enclosure hints at the power and performance inside, while maintaining a high degree of sophistication and beauty. Next to its unique shape, the most striking visual statement is the exotic zebra-grain Linia veneer that’s available in three different finishes: natural, merlot and espresso. The ports themselves increase bass response, while their metallic finish mirrors the horn and driver trim rings. Because P-39F loudspeakers are sold as matched left and right pairs, the ports make an easily seen visual statement. An adjustable brushed aluminum floating base supports the cabinet at just four points, rather than the entire area of the base.
