Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 2.0 Wins 2005 PC World World Class Award in Portable Speakers Category

INDIANAPOLIS (June 6, 2005) - Klipsch Audio Technologies is pleased to announce that its ProMedia Ultra 2.0 personal audio system has been honored by PC World magazine with a 2005 World Class Award in the portable speakers category.

Launched last December, the ProMedia Ultra 2.0 is designed to deliver sub/sat level performance from the simplicity of a two-speaker setup. Retailing for just $99.99, the system was created for consumers who want superior, full-range sound quality but do not want to give up the space or run the wire required for a subwoofer.

Celebrating its 23rd year, the respected World Class Awards honor products that meld practical features with innovation and reflect the rapidly changing technology marketplace. To select the winners, PC World's editors examined hundred of products, including those that have appeared in the magazine over the past 12 months. The winning products were selected for their exemplary design and usability, features, performance, innovation and price.

The ProMedia Ultra 2.0 will be showcased in the July 2005 issue of PC World, which hits newsstands June 14, along with the winners of the other World Class Award categories.

"The ultimate buyers guide, World Class Awards set the standard for excellence in the high-tech and consumer electronics industries," stated Harry McCracken, editor in chief of PC World. "From desktop publishers to travel routers to satellite radio and video instant messenger services, the editors reward the finest products and most outstanding performers in this annual award program. Congratulations to the Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 2.0."
